Robert Levenstein - Senior Sales Associate

Robert Levenstein is the newest addition to the S. D. Herman Co. sales staff, but he is not new to the business. Prior to the start of his tenure at S. D. Herman Co. in January 2009, Bob had been with the Heger Realty Corporation since 1985. Before working for Heger Bob owned and managed a successful retail furniture business in South East Los Angeles.

Bob has been active in the industrial real estate market in the City of Commerce for the past 20 years. During the past 15 years Bob has been involved in the Industrial Council (Chamber of Commerce), co-chaired the Government Affairs Committee with Dave Johnson (Plant Manager of Lever Brothers), and currently serves as chairperson of the Industrial Council Political Action Committee (ICPAC). In addition, Robert also serves as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee.

Robert’s long time involvement with the Commerce Industrial Community has created strong ties based on trust and integrity with the staff at Commerce City Hall. This relationship has enabled Bob to be very effective in solving difficult problems for his clients. Robert’s experience in facilitating transactions involving local and state governmental approvals is widely known and respected throughout the industrial real estate marketplace. Bob has been called upon to consult with City staff on the formulation of new zoning codes and Master Plan for the City of Commerce.

Robert was Heger Realty Corporation’s “Broker of the Year” in 1994 and 1996, and holds the company all time record for number of transactions in a single year. Bob holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Management and Finance from the University of Southern California.
