Gary J. Herman, Sr.

Gary J. Herrnan, Sr. joined our firm in 1952 after serving in the US Army in the Korean Conflict. and was elected President of the firm in 1969, a capacity in which he still serves.

Gary, Sr. graduated from the University of Southern California with Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees, both with majors in Real Estate. After obtaining his MBA he was an instructor for eight years at the University of California at Los Angeles in the real estate department of their extension division.

Gary, Sr. was co-founder of the American Industrial Real Estate Association and The Industrial Multiple with a current membership in excess of 3,000 members. He served as President of the Los Angeles Association of Realtors in 1976 and 1987. He served as a Director of the California Association of Realtors for 20 years and was named an Honorary Director for Life in 1978 and has served as a National Director of the National Association of Realtors representing California for 12 years and has served as a member of the Real Estate Education Endowment Advisory Committee for the California State Universities and Colleges.

Gary, Sr. is a past President of the Hancock Park Homeowners Association, is a Knight of Malta, Vice President of the Hospitaller Foundation of California the fund raising arm of St. John of God Care Center, past President of Cathedral Chapel School Board of Directors, Chairman of Cathedral Chapel Parish Finance Committee and serves as an expert witness in his field of industrial real estate.

Gary, Sr. manages 3,000,000 square feet of leased industrial commercial properties, specializes in packaging industrial investments for his clients and in his spare time he and his wife, Beverly, enjoy their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, traveling and getting away for long weekends in their desert vacation home.
